Description:
Project Management & Development Guidance
Work closely with project contributors to better understand costs and benefits of each initiative as an aid to prioritization
Decompose initiatives into steps with owners and due dates to ensure predictable outcomes
Identify dependencies, assumptions and constraints that affect the outcome of each project
Actively identify and manage risks to ensure predictable outcomes
Plan iterations and lead inspection efforts throughout life cycle
Run tests and beta to validate concept and measure business impact on key revenue and site metrics
Requirements:
- 5+ years of significant product management experience in an online media site, social networking site, or ecommerce site
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
- Exceptional leadership skills; must establish credibility within teams as a knowledgeable, effective leader that knows where projects are today and where they need to go
- Food passion and subject matter expertise preferred
- General knowledge of online advertising preferred
- Proven track record as a product manager - complete life cycles of winning products in a fast-paced environment (prefer start-up experience)
- Working knowledge of the product development stages and process, and the technologies involved in web development
- Must be a committed team player, able to work both independently and interact with executive management, and other staff members
- Working knowledge of Agile Development Methodology / Scrum
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
