ApplePay in 13 More Countries!

Apple Pay has been officially launched in 13 additional countries, allowing millions of European users to make easier, quicker and safer transactions through their mobile devices, by loading their bank cards onto their Apple Wallet.

The mobile payment system allows iPhone 6, 6s, 6, 7, 8, 6 Plus, 6s Plus, 7 Plus, 8 Plus, SE, X, XS, XS Max, and XR users to make payments for goods and services in retail stores using an NFC chip built into their iPhones”, according to MacRumors.
Apple Pay now supports all the major bank cards across Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Romania, and Slovenia.

Apple Pay seems to be expanding rapidly as the new services have already only recently been enabled in Poland, Norway, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, Austria, and Iceland.

Front-End Developer Needed!

Are your favorite languages HTML, CSS and Javascript? Great, then we have a position for you! Our team is looking for someone to work on their content sites on the front-end and light development (or the willingness to learn) C# on the back end. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Web Developer will be designing and maintaining browser extensions as well as web properties with a focus on increasing user acquisition and engagement. This individual will be expected to take ownership and create, test and deploy production-ready code and design. A complete understanding of web design and a desire to create an engaging user experience is a must. Primary duties include:

  • Design: Focusing on graphic design for ads and landing pages or home pages
  • Coding: Move your design to production using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • A/B Testing: Monitoring performance across multiple variations of a design to determine the top performer
  • Optimization: Iterate to increase KPIs in each point of the conversion funnel
  • Competitive Research: Proactively keeping up to date on industry trends

 

CANDIDATE OVERVIEW

 

The successful candidate will be a KPI focused, confident leader with at least:

  • 1-2 years’ development experience, with advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Experience coding in C# is a plus
  • Experience conducting and monitoring A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
  • Basic knowledge of SQL a plus
  • Understanding of and/or experience with Amazon Web Services is helpful

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Adaptability: Capable of adjusting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Passion for Technology: Excitement for new technology, bleeding edge applications, and a positive attitude towards solving real  challenges.

  • Resourceful: Looks for ways to achieve goals with available resources.
  • Passionate: Able to promote design recommendations and sell your ideas

MORE Food! Spigot, Inc. Caters Wally’s Deli

Spigot, Inc. has free lunches on Monday’s and Wednesday’s and a crowd favorite is definitely Wally’s Deli! We ordered the Ham Sandwich, Turkey, Soprano, Roast Beef and the Fresh Prince. Of course we also ordered sides of Mac n Cheese and salad.

Free lunch gives Spigot, Inc. employees the opportunity to sit together and mingle since we all get our lunch delivered at the same time! It’s a great opportunity for team building and just all around getting to know each other better!
