Software Engineer (LAMP)

Position Overview:

The person is an experienced Software Engineer that will create, maintain and scale out both new and existing high-volume web applications.  Specific duties include:

  1. Developing, analyzing, troubleshooting high volume web systems with LAMP Stack
  2. Building, maintaining and optimizing platforms for high volume web systems
  3. Software Development, coding applications using Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
  4. Architect and develop new products and enhance current product features based on market changes and opportunities
  5. Refactor, update, and revitalize codebases as advances in technology allow for more capabilities.
  6. Troubleshoot and fix system failures and system performance, especially as systems scale

The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:

  • 3 years of experience in software development
  • Strong knowledge of LAMP Stack and WordPress

Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for completing profit-driven analysis to provide recommendations on how to increase profits and efficiency on all aspects of the business as necessary; especially those related to product performance. This person is able to present ideas in the morning, implement them in the afternoon and later check the performance of their idea via data analysis. Primary duties include:

    1. Ad-hoc queries using MSSQL Server and other RDBMS
    2. Data manipulation and presentation in Excel
    3. Tracking and analysis of Key Performance Indicators such as profit, user value, click through & conversion rates, traffic volumes, etc.
    4. Development and execution of new reports (trends, opportunities, etc.) to boost the business intelligence of the team.

Performing market place intelligence and refining information into actionable recommendations to Product Development team members.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:

    • Practical experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc)
    • Proficiency in SQL (select/from/where clauses, etc)

Media Buyer

Position Overview:

Lead the strategy, buying, and execution of online media to drive customer acquisitions across the social channel. You will directly impact the continued growth of our digital marketing campaigns in Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, and more. You will be accountable for meeting traffic, revenue, ad spend, and ROI targets. Strong industry knowledge, demonstrated success in performance marketing, comfort with data and analysis, and willingness to dive in and execute will be key factors for success. If you are the type of person who “gets stuff done” and wants to work in a fast pace environment, then this is the perfect opportunity with limitless growth potential.

The Media Buyer will be responsible for:

  • Manage a portfolio of performance marketing campaigns across paid social including but not limited to Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Conduct hands-on bid optimization; develop and implement strategies for targeting, creative, and funnel optimization to meet and exceed volume & ROI targets
  • Work with the creative and content team to develop creative assets and drive the creative testing roadmap
  • Communicate A/B test results and recommendations from programs with team and senior leadership
  • Prioritize execution strategy based on revenue potential
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging capabilities in the digital landscape

The Successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:

  • 2-5 years of experience driving growth and acquisitions via Paid Social, Display Marketing, or SEM
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a high attention to details
  • Strong understanding of the Facebook auction system and bid strategies (CPC, CPM, CPA)
  • Ability to identify trends and turn data into actionable business insights and hypothesis
  • Creative problem solver with a balance of strategic thinking and detailed execution
  • Exceptionally-detailed knowledge of metrics, specifically A/B, multi-variant testing and ROI analysis
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter mentality with drive to succeed
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Expertise in using Facebook Power Editor
  • Familiarity with marketing management tools (e.g. Marin, Kenshoo, Nanigans) preferred
  • Experience in SQL a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. economics, statistics)
