Spigot, Inc. Mobile Team Wheel of Fortune Hosted by Gameshow Gauntlet!

Spigot, Inc. is on week 11 of social distancing – and still keeping up on the virtual happy hours! Last Friday, Spigot, Inc.’s Mobile team decided to do a Pre-Memorial Day Happy Hour and play Wheel of Fortune! The show was hosted by Gameshow Gauntlet (Highly recommend) and it was a blast! Everyone hopped on Zoom at 3pm, made a drink, grabbed a few teammates and got to participate in the fun. Cory – the creator of Gameshow Gauntlet develops all the games himself and pre Covid would do them at bars, but they work perfectly virtually as well! Spigot, Inc. and our sister companies have enjoyed several virtual happy hour games.

Spigot, Inc. is unsure when we will be able to work all together again in the office – so continuing to put on “virtual” team building events is important. Another Team Building Event with our Romanian Team!

Spigot, Inc. not only has a large office in Fort Myers, but we have an office in Bucharest, Romania with over 25 employees! A huge perk of working for Spigot is the opportunity for travel and this week a part of our  Romanian Team traveled to FL to work out of our Fort Myers office. We have a whole bunch of fun stuff planned for them (Trivia tonight, bowling tomorrow!) and today they got to get out of the office and go to a team lunch at Olive Garden.

Team building is extremely important and a large part of our success here at Spigot, Inc. Our parent company is based out of China and they have companies all over the globe we work side by side with – so it’s really important for us to travel and develop relationships with everyone in the other offices; as well as in our Fort Myers office.

The PPC Specialist’s main goal is to grow distribution through SEM, Social and other Pay-Per-Click Networks. Primary duties include:

  1. Campaign Management: Develop, deploy, and SEM, Display and PPC campaigns to drive distribution of our various software offers.
  2. Research & Analysis: Conduct market/competitor research to be leveraged in the execution of campaigns; Analyze conversion data, identify trends, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI. Using in house reporting platforms and working with the Business Intelligence team you will be responsible for the bottom line of each campaign.
  3. Branding/Marketing: Branding new software offers, driving the marketing and unique value proposition, based on competitive research and distribution opportunities.
  4. Testing: Aggressively A/B test ad copy to maximize CTR. Drive marketing and design ideas for landing page tests to maximize CVR.
  5. Business Development: Independently identify and present new campaign opportunities to appropriate stakeholders.

Candidate Overview

The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:

    • 3-5 years digital media buying experience
    • Expert-level understanding of Google AdWords
    • Strong knowledge of Bing Ads preferred
    • Past experience in native advertising, content curation or social media a plus.
    • Experience managing high budget and high volume campaigns
    • Basic familiarity with Excel
    • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:

    • Competitive: Driven, must win attitude with urgency and tenacity.
    • Communication (written & oral): Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop, and maintain business relationships. Must also have excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Proven Track Record: Have a successful work history of meeting deadlines and commitments.
    • Adaptability: Capable of adjusting to quickly shifting priorities.
    • Resourceful: Looks for ways to achieve goals utilizing available resources.
    • Industry Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of how online display and search advertising works.
    • Team Player: Demonstrates a strong ability to support department staff members and managers, and establish collaborative relationships with peers.
    • Desire to Win: Willingness to go above and beyond specific requirements and desire to exceed expectations.

Measurements of Success

There are several key measurements of success this employee will use to benchmark performance including:

    • Grow user base below the target cost per acquisition
    • Increase book of business through new opportunities and campaigns

Spigot Inc Bowling Social

The fun never ends at Spigot Inc. We left the office a little early and had an afternoon of bowling, great food and drinks at HeadPinz in Fort Myers. They have state-of-the-art bowling on 24 lanes, 4 old time PinBoy lanes, giant GameZone, 2 story laser tag, aerial ropes course and Nemo’s Sports Bistro. HeadPinz is great for fun social bowling leagues, birthday parties, corporate outings and team building events. Although we spent the entire time bowling, we would like to go back and take advantage of some of the other amenities in the future.

The competition was strong for the Spigot Inc teams. We had no idea that some of our colleagues were such good bowlers. The Spigot Inc bowling competition is on… rematch coming soon!
