Spigot Summer Games 2023
Spigot Games 2023 was a day filled with camaraderie, fun, and fierce competition, all set against the stunning backdrop of one of Florida’s most beautiful beaches, FMB! This year’s event was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a thrilling lineup of games and challenges that would put even the most seasoned competitors to the test. Let’s dive into the heart-pounding action of Spigot Games 2023!
This year, Spigot Games took on a Survivor-themed twist that added an extra layer of excitement to the event. Every team got started with a scavenger hunt that led them to the beach. It was a race against time and wits as teams solved clues, navigated the island, and located their precious flags, boats and of course, we had to take some selfies. The Survivor theme set the stage for a day of intense competition, reminiscent of the popular TV show, as teams vied for supremacy.
The Spigot Games kicked off in style with a challenging obstacle course that tested the teams’ physical abilities and problem-solving skills. Participants had to navigate through a series of hurdles, crawl under nets, and dig in the sand to find their puzzle pieces. The obstacle course served as an adrenaline-pumping warm-up for the day’s main events, getting everyone’s competitive spirit fired up.
The main event featured a variety of games that required teamwork, strategy, and a dash of humor. From the four-way tug-o-war to the hilarious musical flip cup, participants showcased their skills and sense of fun. The jell-o shot spoons game added a sweet and slightly slippery twist, while the water relay challenged teams to stay coordinated and focused. The Spigot Games offered something for everyone, ensuring a day filled with laughter and memorable moments.
With all the action and excitement, participants needed fuel to keep them going, and that’s when Yo Taco came to save the day! The event was catered by this local favorite, serving up delicious tacos, quesadillas and delectable churros to keep the energy high. Yo Taco!’s mouthwatering offerings were a big hit.
As the day’s challenges progressed, the competition became more intense. Teams pushed themselves to the limit, demonstrating their determination and unity. But in the end, it was Spigot’s Digital Media team that emerged as the champions of the day. Their unwavering teamwork and skills in both physical and mental challenges secured their victory, earning them the title of Spigot Games 2023 champions.
The Spigot Games are an annual tradition that the Spigot team looks forward to with great anticipation.
