We’re excited for the future and what it holds for us, specifically with the advancements in technology. Here are a few sectors that we expect to see rapid growth in the 2021 and the coming decade.

With a surge in Covid cases (especially Spigot, Inc.‘s home – Florida) it’s much less appealing to go to the grocery store and way more appealing to get groceries delivered. Unfortunately – everyone feels the same way so sometimes it’s tough to get a delivery. Good news came in today from Uber – they’re starting a delivery service too! Now you won’t just have to rely on instacart & Shipt! Uber hasn’t released it in the US yet, but it’s coming soon – AND Amazon also offers delivery through Whole Foods as another alternative.

Zoom has become an extremely popular tool over the last several months as we’ve all been practicing “social distancing.  Individuals went from having no idea what this tool was, to conducting happy hours, parties, school, dates, brunch & tons of work conferences on the daily. You may think that Zoom just got “lucky” with this pandemic, but the truth is – they have been climbing the ladder as a successful “start-up” for the past 9 years.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook, announced on Twitter today that “Apple will design, produce and distribute more than 1 million face shields a week.” According to an article on Linkedin, “The protective gear will first be distributed to medical workers in the U.S. with a goal to expand distribution overseas. The tech giant has also sourced 20 million face masks to donate globally in a bid to slow the spread of coronavirus.”
